ARS IURA partners with the UN Global Compact Network (Tanzania Chapter) for the Business & Human Rights Symposium
ARS IURA is honored to collaborate with the UN Global Compact Network (Tanzania Chapter) in hosting this year's Business and Human Rights Symposium. This prestigious event, titled "Actions to Expand Global Practice to Ensure Migrant Workers' Rights in the Country," aims to address critical issues surrounding the rights and protections of migrant workers in Tanzania.
The symposium will bring together a diverse array of stakeholders, including government representatives, business leaders, human rights advocates, and members of civil society, to engage in meaningful dialogue and share best practices. By fostering a collaborative environment, we aim to develop and implement actionable solutions that will enhance global practices, ensuring the fair and just treatment of migrant workers.
Key topics to be discussed include the legal frameworks governing migrant workers' rights, the role of businesses in upholding these rights, and strategies for effective advocacy and policy change. Through panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will gain valuable insights and tools to drive positive change in their respective fields.
ARS IURA is committed to promoting human rights and social justice, and this partnership with the UN Global Compact Network underscores our dedication to these principles. We believe that by working together, we can make significant strides in protecting and empowering migrant workers, not only in Tanzania but around the world.
